We are Iroquois County's only public golf course. Shagbark Golf and Country Club is a 9 hole course, but we have different tees for the front and back.  Our greens are small at 3500 sq. ft. The course is a joy to play as we have a few holes with a very narrow fairway, challenging par 3's, and a couple reachable par 5's in two. The course is 83 years old with a lot of mature trees and water on 2 holes.  We are located 3/4 a mile off of US-45 and one and a half miles off of I-57 exit 280.
